  • At U23 European Championships 3 Gold Medals in the Team Pursuit, individual Pursuit and Scratch Longlisted for the 2012 Games
  • Gold Medallist at the Worls Championships Elite, Team Pursuit

2010

  • Selected to compete at elite level in the 2010 European Track Championships – the first event to qualify points for London 2012 – and won the Gold medal in the Team Pursuit alongside Wendy Houvenaghel and Katie Colclough.
  • Selected for England’s Commonwealth Games squad in which she was the youngest member.

     

Laura Trott won the Junior World Champion title in the Omnium and the National titles in track, road and Time Trial racing. She was selected to compete at elite level in the 2010 European Track Championships – the first event to qualify points for London 2012 – and won the Gold medal in the Team Pursuit alongside Wendy Houvenaghel and Katie Colclough.

In 2010, Laura was also selected for England’s Commonwealth Games squad in which she was the youngest member.

2011 saw Laura make her debut on the Senior World Championships stage, winning Gold alongside Wendy Houvenaghel and Dani King in the Women’s Team Pursuit. Laura was also pulled in to replace an injured Lizzie Armitstead in the Omnium, where she posted the fastest time in the 500m TT event and finished 11th overall. Laura also won two Gold medals at the recent European Track Championships in Holland (Laura to collect the award)
