London 2012 Olympic event: 50 kms Race Walk,11 August 2012
Dominic resides in Colchester and is a member of the Colchester Harriers Athletic Club. In 2008 he was ranked number 2nd in GB in both the 20 kilometres walk and the 50 kilometres walk. He expects to compete in the European Race Walking Championships this year as well as the World Championships in Germany. He also holds a level 2 UKA Coaches licence for Endurance & Race Walking and has worked at local schools to talk about his experiences of Race Walking and he is happy to work in an ambassador’s role, working with local schools to inspire children to get involved in sport.
