The ‘Be the Best you can Be!’ programme enables schools to realise their individual vision and mission statements of enabling every child to achieve and succeed.

The Be the Best you can Be! Programme is running in Essex schools and starts with a CPD / Staff Development Day, where an experienced trainer leads a workshop and every teacher receives an outline on how the programme works.

Be the Best you can Be! starts with all the children meeting an Olympian or another high achiever who shares their story. As role models, the special speakers kick start each school launch and brings the programme ‘achievement of dreams’ into the curriculum.

This is followed by further modules designed to help young people discover and develop the skills they need to follow their dreams and to begin their own successful journey. Each student receives a workbook in which to record their personal journey.

The programme concludes with a celebration where all the young people and teachers share what they have learned and support each other in pursuing their dreams and goals. The Olympian or another high achiever will attend and present programme participants with a recognition medallion produced and sponsored by the Royal Mint. This is to recognise their individual journey and is intended to encourage them to continue to work towards their goals or set new ones.
