Booth Academy of Table Tennis

Following a refurbishment costing in excess of £200,000 in 2008 Booth Academy of Table Tennis is one of the most modern and well respected table tennis facilities in Essex and the East of England. Booth Academy of Table Tennis is a regional centre of excellence for the English Table Tennis Association who regularly hold elite training and flagship national competitions such as the British League Premier Division at the centre.

The club has experience developing elite table tennis players as well as organising large scale national competitions and delivering sessions to the community utilising International table tennis players such as Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Gareth Herbert on a weekly basis. With funding from the English Table Tennis Association as well as the club and School Sports Partnership the club now employs a full time table tennis coach who has previously coached Olympic squads whose remit includes spending one third of the time developing disability table tennis.

Booth Academy of Table Tennis would be fantastic preparation camp for any Table Tennis Team in the build up to London 2012 or any other major international event in the future. It would also be a good opportunity for teams that want to build a lasting relationship with a high quality table tennis organisation within England.
