
The Lee Valley White Water Centre which has a 160m long white water course, with a 1.6m descent from the start pool to the finish pool and Grade three rapids will be open to the public to come and experience.
Three pumps will continue to deliver up to 10,500 litres of water per second into the course which is perfect for paddlers wishing to improve their technique, move from flat water to white water and hone skills required to take on the Olympic course.
Lee Valley White Water Centre will continue to be open to the public post London 2012 Games. Dozens of agencies are working with Lee Valley White Water Centre to make sure that the benefits of this world class venue will be maximised through business, employment, education, tourism, culture, volunteering and sporting opportunities.
