Hadleigh Old Fire Station was opened in the Summer of 2011 as a space for events and activity for the local community that will be part of the legacy from the London 2012 Games.
Bright Sparks is a new drama school run by Emma Westell at the Old Fire Station Hadleigh on Fridays starting 23rd September, from 4.00 pm to 7.30 pm and it is looking for students with a burning ambition to act. It aims to blaze a trail of high standard drama training while developing the student’s confidence, self-discipline and respect in a supportive and enthusiastic environment. Training for LAMDA exams are also available.
Bright Sparks has three age groups: Green Sparks, 4-6 years, Blue Sparks, 7-11 years, and Red Sparks, 12-16 years. Each class costs £5 a week.
Fire up their imagination with drama games and theatre fun. The classes include a wide variety of drama techniques to develop their vocal and performance skills and increase their self esteem. These talents culminate in performances for friends and family.
Bright Sparks teaches theatrical terms and phrases so the student builds up a useful vocabulary, and provides vocal coaching in diction, projection and intonation so that they can express themselves clearly and confidently.
Bright Sparks uses all forms of drama stimuli; costumes, props, modern and classic texts and audio visual resources to enrich their learning experience.
