The "Games 2010" was an action packed day of sport organised by Basildon Council as part of London 2012 Open weekend.
The Open Weekend Challenge was to get youngsters interested in sport in the run up to the London 2012 Games.
120 budding athletes from across the Basildon district flocked to Gloucester Park, Basildon, the location of the future Basildon Sporting Village to take part in jumping, running throwing and plenty more events inspired by sports that they'll be watching in two years time at the London 2012 Games.
