Roller Hockey, Come and Try, Colchester

On Saturday 24 July, Colchester Roller Hockey Club held "Come and Try" Taster sessions as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend and the Essex Rural Community Fund.
The session was held at Manningtree Sports Centre and was well supported. Two of the youngsters who attended the session came along to training the following Sunday - and one of them brought along a couple of friends as well.
Organisers said that the session raised the profile of Roller Hockey in the Colchester and Manningtree areas which was beneficial as Colchester Roller Hockey Club are constantly looking for players aged 7-70 both male and female.
