Essex County Council submits planning application for Olympic Venue

Progress continues on the Plans for the Olympic Mountain Biking Venue at Hadleigh Farm. Essex County Council announced in April that the planning application for the Olympic Mountain Biking Venue at Hadleigh Farm has been submitted and registered with Castle Point Borough Council. The application will be available to view on the Castle Point Borough Council website until 21 May, 2010.
The Planning application submitted relates to plans for the Venue to be used for the 2012 Olympic Mountain Bike events only. However Essex County Council has made a commitment to retain the course after the Olympics and separate proposals for longer term plans will be presented later in the year.
