Get ready to celebrate. The Olympic Flame is travelling through Essex on 6-7 July 2012.
17 Communities in Essex will witness the Olympic flame travelling through on route to the Olympic Park, with an overnight stop and countywide celebration in Chelmsford on 6 Jul 2012.
Make the most of this once in a life time occasion by signing up to become a Local Leader and celebrate the Games with friends, family and neighbours. Becoming a Local Leader is simple. Just pick an occasion and get planning. Create your own events or if you need some inspiration, have a look at some ideas here that people have suggested. Whatever you decide to do, sign up for Local Leader emails and over the next few months London 2012 will make sure you have planning guides, ‘save the date’ cards, decoration ideas, exclusive offers and more.
