Essex has been hosting a series of Business Breakfasts from autumn 2008 across the county to encourage Essex businesses to sign up to the CompeteFor website and capitalise on the potential London 2012 business opportunities. 

Working with Business Link East, Essex has already hosted two successful events since October at the Colchester United FC and Holiday Inn Basildon with a combined total of 160 attendances.   As well as promoting CompeteFor and the 2012 business opportunities delegates were informed on how to enter the supply chain along with guidance on meeting the minimum criteria.
