This is a one-off grant to enable the development of new cultural projects that embrace the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Values. In 2011, Schools and School Sport Partnerships (SSP) across Essex were invited to apply for a one-off grant to enable them to develop new cultural projects that link with Essex County Council’s plans for festivals in 2012.
The scheme is aimed at schools and Schools Sports Partnerships who are running cultural projects for the benefit of people in the County of Essex. 2011's funding was to enable schools and teachers to up skill and ensure the school is getting ready for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In order for the School to be eligible for funding the School must be registered on the London 2012 Get Set website and also working towards achieving Network status.
