Drawing on the inspiration of Essex as a host county for Olympic mountain biking, this cross-phase conference will support your school in developing the legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic values. The Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service (EMTAS) and the Essex 2012 legacy team have worked in partnership with Essex schools and Show Racism the Red Card to create a lively day of practical interactive sessions. Our programme will help your school to ‘go for gold’ in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
Keynote speaker: Anne Wafula-Strike - Paralympic wheelchair racer.
Workshop sessions will include:
Who should attend: Senior leadership, Pastoral leaders, Inclusion managers, School governors and teachers with an interest in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in both primary and secondary schools.

This conference including lunch is free to all Essex locally maintained schools. A nominal charge of £40 will be made to academies in Essex and schools from other authorities.
