The Paralympic Closing Ceremony, 9 September 2012, will signal the conclusion of the Games as a whole. Kim Gavin has been appointed Artistic Director for the Closing Ceremonies of the Paralympic Games.
Flagbearers from each participating country enter the Stadium followed by the athletes who, again, come in together without any national distinction.
The Paralympic Flag is then symbolically taken down and the national flag of the next Host Nation is hoisted up. The Games are officially closed, and the Paralympic Flame is extinguished.
The closing ceremony for the Paralympics will also be the close of the Cultural Olympiad will be Bandstand marathon will take place across the UK and other events and activities are planned for us to celebrate an extraordinary summer.
