The London 2012 Inspire programme enables non-commercial organisations to officially link their events and projects to the London 2012 Games.
The Inspire Mark has been developed to reach new audiences, create new partnerships and inspire change across sport, educaion, sustainability, volunteering, business opportunities and culture.
Since 2008, Essex has been delivering projects uniquely inspired by the London 2012 Games that have been officially recognised by the Inspire Mark. These projects acknowledge Olympic values of: Excellence, respect and friendship and Paralympic values of: Courage, determination, inspiration and equality. Applications to the Inspire programme are now closed and existing projects are encouraged to sign up to be a Local Leader for London 2012. Below are some of the projects in Essex that have been awarded the inspire marks awarded between 2008 - 2012

Inspire projects can use the online up load form to post events directly onto the London 2012 website. Visitors can search to see what’s on in their local community or find events and opportunities on a specific date.
