On Tuesday 11 October employees from across Essex County Council dropped what they were doing and danced to some happening beats. This phenomenon called 'flashmobbing' took place to support the launch of SportsMakers in Essex, and was a great example of how anyone can get involved in activities – precisely what SportsMakers is all about.
SportsMakers, a nationwide campaign, aims to inspire people across the county to get involved in sport by encouraging them to organise and lead sporting activities in their community or workplace. You can find out more on the SportMakers website.
